Las metrópolis europeas con más industrias creativas
París, Londres, Milán y Madrid son, por este orden, las principales metrópolis europeas por el volumen de su industria creativa y cultural. En el caso de la capital madrileña, concentra 156.000 trabajadores y el 30% del total que se produce en España en publicidad, editorial, cine, sonido y televisión.
En el sector de cine, sonido y televisión, Madrid se sitúa en segunda posición, tan sólo superada por Inner London; y en publicidad ocupa la tercera posición. En sectores como publicidad y estudios de mercado, la ciudad concentra el 30% del empleo de España, y el 28 por ciento de la industria editorial.
Es destacable como en este sector más del 43% de los trabajadores ocupan puestos de categoría superior (licenciados o superior), en tanto para el conjunto de la economía este porcentaje se sitúa en el 22,4.
