Los ayuntamientos organizan “shopping days”
La crisis, las necesidades de los turistas y la creciente competencia de negocios regentados por extranjeros están llevando a los ayuntamientos a organizar “shopping days” en días festivos. Ha sido el caso de Bilbao, cuyo Consistorio trata así de animar a las tiendas a abrir ciertos domingos, y de Madrid, que quiere que los ciudadanos se acostumbren a hacer sus compras en otros distritos. En Barcelona son algunos comerciantes los que han pedido cambios regulatorios para poder levantar la persiana, aunque existen ya unos días en los que está permitido.
Durante cinco festivos, el Ayuntamiento de Madrid organiza Madrid Sunday Shopping by SModa en el distrito de Salamanca para promover el comercio de la zona. Más de 200 establecimientos (tiendas de moda, bares y restaurantes) abrirán esos cinco días, ofreciendo descuentos, regalos o degustaciones.
La campaña está concebida como una experiencia piloto que, a la vista de sus resultados y de lo que nos proponga el comercio de Madrid, se podrá repetir tanto en la zona de Salamanca como en otras de la ciudad declaradas también de Gran Afluencia Turística a efectos de libertad de apertura comercial, como los barrios de Sol Justicia, Cortes y Palacio.
