Telefónica lleva la fibra óptica al 100% de los hogares de Barcelona
No entiendo muy bien qué criterios está utilizando Telefónica para llevar la fibra óptica a los hogares de unas ciudades más rápidamente que a los de otras. Lo cierto es que los más afortunados deben ser los barceloneses, donde en julio dispondrán de cobertura universal de esta tecnología, que permite obtener velocidades de hasta 100 megas en el acceso a Internet.
“Será la primera ciudad del Estado que tendremos cubierta al cien por cien con fibra óptica”, reconocen los directivos de la multinacional. Quizás este privilegio esté relacionado con la menor cuota de mercado que los operadores de cable tienen en Cataluña frente a otras regiones españolas. Pero eso Telefónica no lo dice.
