Madrid figura en la posición 14 entre las ciudades más atractivas del mundo en las que crear una startup, según el Startup Ecosystem Index. Este análisis, basado en opiniones de fundadores de 13.000 compañías, lo lideran Silicon Valley, Nueva York y Londres.
El estudio incluye otros datos de interés:
– El descenso del coste del software está multiplicando el número de startups.
– Cada vez hay más puntos atractivos para instalar una startup, dado que las necesidades de financiación se han reducido sustancialmente.
Y ésta es la clasificación:
1. Silicon Valley, caracterizado por la presencia de inversores y mentores y por el alto riesgo que toman los emprendedores, que se orientan especialmente hacia los juegos y las infraestructuras. Como curiosidad, en esta zona se trabaja una media de 9,5 horas al día, frente a las 7 horas de Nueva York.
2. Nueva York, caracterizado por el fuerte enfoque hacia el mercado y, como producto, hacia los contenidos y la publicidad.
3. Londres, caracteerizado por el fuerte enfoque hacia el comercio electrónico y el software de gestión.
