Gourmet Bus: ¡qué gran idea!
Los autobuses turísticos que recorren las principales ciudades son un acierto, en cuanto ofrecen un servicio para el visitante que tiene prisa y pocas ganas de andar. Además, generan un nuevo modelo de negocio. Pero donde lo han redondeado es en Barcelona al crear el Gourmet Bus, un autobús que permite recorrer la ciudad en tres horas mientras se cena.
De esta manera, se promocionan los atractivos locales tanto monumentales como gastronómicos, estos últimos de la mano del chef Carles Gaig, que cuenta con una estrella Michelín. Los promotores son tanto el Ayuntamiento como la empresa Grupo Julià, otra prueba más de que las alianzas público-privadas tienen mucho que decir.
El autobús tiene espacio para 34 personas en dos pisos, todo ello cubierto por un techo de cristal. Hay dos turnos diarios, a las 17.30 (para los europeos que quieren cenar pronto) y a las 21 horas. El precio es de 95 euros. Es una idea genial que bien podrían incorporar en lugares que tienen tradición gastronómica, como San Sebastián.
