Los bilbaínos, los que más usan el transporte público
Bilbao es la ciudad de todo el Estado en la que más se usa el transporte público, según el último estudio de la Asociación de Consumidores y Usuarios sobre la satisfacción del uso del transporte urbano en nuestras ciudades.
El 78% de los bilbainos afirman moverse en transporte público por la ciudad, mientras que tan solo un 10% reconocen coger el coche particular. La capital vizcaína es, al mismo tiempo, la ciudad en la que menos se usa el coche, lejos de Madrid (22%), Barcelona (23%),Valencia (28%), Zaragoza (29%) o Sevilla (46%).
El estudio concluye que los usuarios prefieren el transporte privado en más de la mitad de las ciudades analizadas a pesar de ser más caro, especialmente en Málaga, Badajoz y Murcia. Los usuarios de Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao y Santa Cruz de Tenerife prefieren el metro, tren ligero o tranvía al autobús, mientras que en otras ciudades como Córdoba, Sevilla, Vitoria, Castellón de la Plana, Barcelona, Valencia, Zaragoza y Albacete, un alto porcentaje se desplaza en bicicleta.
En cuanto a los autobuses urbanos, Bilbobus quedaría como la quinta ciudad en la que los usuarios están más satisfechos, con una nota del 6,32. Los gijoneses son los más satisfechos con el servicio de buses, seguido de Logroño, Valladolid, Albacete y Burgos. La OCU ha realizado una encuesta a 4.216 personas en 33 ciudades y la nota media de los ciudadanos a este servicio apenas llega el 6.
